SUPPLEMENTAL ATHLETIC INSURANCE

FCHAA requires each athlete to enroll in a supplemental athletic insurance policy chosen by FCHAA to provide coverage for injuries sustained while participating in an FCHAA sporting event or a practice scheduled by the player’s coach.  This choice was made after having 2 players suffer from knee injuries and one player a broken hand during 2 seasons from 2007-2009.  This supplemental athletic insurance policy will help ease the financial burden of any family whose child suffers an injury while playing sports with our program.  If the injured player is covered by medical insurance then this athletic insurance policy will supplement your family policy.  If the injured player is not covered by medical insurance this supplemental athletic insurance will act as their primary policy for the covered athletic injury.  A Schedule of Benefits for the policy is listed below.
