2008 Cross Country Results

Faulkner County’s cross country team finished up the season with some very good times.  Here are the times from the last meet.  You can see that these runners finished at the top of the pack.  We also had one runner that set a new record for the jr. boys. 

Phil Baker ran the first meet and missed the jr. boys record by just 6 seconds.  At the second meet he missed the record by only 1 second.  At the final meet he set the record in 9:04.  The old record was 9:26 which was good time but Phil ran a fantastic race and beat the record by 22 seconds.

• Elementary – 1 mile

  • Boys

    • 2^nd place - Mark Baker in a time of 6:50

• Jr. High – 2500 meters (A little over a mile and ½)

  • Boys

    • 1^st place - Phillip Baker in a time of 9:04

• Sr. High - 5000 meters (3 miles and 1 tenth.)

  • Sr. Girls  

    • 1^st place – Hannah Balch in a time of 26:02

• Sr. Boys

  • 1^st place – Will Harville with a time of 20:23

  • 3^rd place – Nate Baker with a time of 23:46
