** Important Notice **
Weather Policy for Game/Practice Cancellations
During the basketball season, all efforts are made to keep travel safety in mind during inclement weather.
PRACTICE:
If Conway Schools cancel classes or the City Offices closed or delayed opening, we will cancel practice. If practice is not canceled and the roads are unsafe in your area, do not put yourself or your child at risk to make practice. Instead, call or email your child's coach and let them know your child will miss practice due to unsafe road conditions in your area.
GAMES:
The call to cancel games should not be hastily made due to the difficulty in rescheduling games. Sometimes this means monitoring weather conditions up until a few hours prior to game time. In the event that weather conditions prohibit safe travel to and/or from a game for either team involved, a decision will be made to cancel the scheduled games. When games are canceled, all coaches are notified and made aware of the decision. Then, a notice will be placed on the FCHAA website and an email will be sent to all FCHAA families. Please contact your child's coach to discuss the decisions that are made.
